Technology Resources
Internet Access
- U of M WiFi Access: The University Office of Information Technology supports locations throughout the state that utilize the University of Minnesota internet network. In many of these locations, the WiFi connection should reach outside of the building. Community members are able to drive to a University-supported site and utilize the University's WiFi connection while sitting in their car. Community members should utilize the University's UofM-Guest WiFi Network to connect to the WiFi.

Technology Support
- U of M Zoom training (can be accessed by external audience)
- Utilizing technology products and tools not supported by the U of M: If you are interested in using a product or tool not support by the University's Office of Information Technology to conduct University business, please email [email protected] to ensure the product/tool compiles with important University policies. A team from OIT will review the request and assist you with next steps regarding the product/tool.
- Troubleshooting: If University of community members are having trouble with technology issues, such as connecting to Zoom or accessing the UofM-Guest WiFi Network, please call the Office of Information Technology's Help Desk at 612-301-4357. Individuals can also use chat or email ([email protected]) to contact the help desk.
