Minnesota Technical Assistance Program

The Minnesota Technical Assistance Program (MnTAP) is an outreach program at the University of Minnesota. Our mission is to improve public health and the environment throughout Minnesota. We do this by working directly with Minnesota businesses and industrial facilities of all sizes, municipalities, and commercial businesses to develop and implement solutions to prevent pollution at the source, maximize efficient use of resources,  reduce energy and water use while managing operating costs.

MnTAP staff members provide confidential, no-cost, industry tailored technical assistance appropriate for each project through site visits, team facilitations, or a supervised on-site intern, to help facilities improve operations, reduce waste and save money.
