Join us to help improve the IRB experience for community-engaged researchers. This is an open house style workshop for community engaged scholars (students, staff and faculty) to stop in and provide real-time feedback on a new IRB determination process and description. Attendees will also learn about regulatory definitions of research that requires IRB review. Light refreshments will be provided. The interactive and engaging workshop is designed and led by CoLab Research Group from the College of Design. This session is part of ongoing work co-led by the Office of Public Engagement and the UMN Institutional Review Board to identify opportunities for IRB process improvement and enhanced training options for social behavioral researchers and those conducting community engaged research.

Drop in any time between 12:30-4:30 p.m.
