The CCLC is the professional association for Civil Service Bargaining Unit (CSBU) and Professional/Administrative (PA), public engagement staff across the University of Minnesota system. The organization supports public engagement staff professional development with activities like networking opportunities, professional development opportunities, and dissemination of scholarly work. CCLC advocates for and elevates the importance of public engagement staff work at all levels of the University and is responsible for appointing one member of the Public Engagement Council. The CCLC connects public engagement staff to the Office for Public Engagement and supports implementation of the Ten-Point Plan for Advancing and Institutionalizing Public Engagement.
There is a continuum of participation for individuals within CCLC. At minimum, we encourage you to be part of the CCLC listserv where you can both share and receive information relevant to public engagement activities and resources.
