Strengthening the University of Minnesota as an Engaged University: Community Perspectives (April 2012)

  • Susan Gust, Community Activist and Small Business Owner

Panelists representing a broad range of community-based organizations spoke to the factors they believe contribute to building successful partnerships with the University of Minnesota and shared some of the challenges that community partners face when partnering with the University. Panelists also offered recommendations for establishing and maintaining mutually beneficial partnerships.  The symposium engaged participants in a critical conversation on how the University can strengthen its partnership work with communities.
