Explore the critical role of public engagement in addressing society's most pressing issues at "Advancing Publicly-Engaged Research, Teaching, and Learning to Address Society's Grand Challenges," a University of Minnesota system-wide conference on Thursday, March 1, 2018 at Coffman Memorial Union's Great Hall on the University's Minneapolis campus.
The day kicks off with a plenary panel discussion with scholars and community members associated with the University's Grand Challenges Research Initiatives who will share their thoughts and experiences on funding partnerships, project sustainability, and strategies for managing broad-scope, interdisciplinary projects. The conference will be followed by a social hour hosted by members of the University's Community-Campus Liaison's Council.
