The Engagement Academy for University Leaders (EA) is an award-winning, international professional development program designed for higher education leaders committed to enhancing the value and performance of their institutions by deepening collaborative relationships with their communities. EA programs focus on how leaders build engaged institutions through the complex process of organizational change.
The EA curriculum draws extensively from theory and practice in the domains of leadership, innovation, boundary spanning, and change in complex organizations. Programs employ case studies, insights from cutting-edge research, and sharing of participant experiences facilitated by field experts to meet learning goals.
Delivered in partnership with the University of Minnesota's Office for Public Engagement and Educational Technology Innovations , EA events are conducted in partnership with higher education associations such as the Engagement Scholarship Consortium, Coalition of Urban and Metropolitan Universities, and Campus Compact. Plans are underway to offer EA programs in both place-based and online environments.
