The University of Minnesota Office for Public Engagement (OPE) advances the University’s mission and commitment to the public good by supporting scholars, staff, and students throughout the University’s five-campus system in their capacity for publicly-engaged research, teaching, and outreach. A unit of the Office of the Executive Vice President and Provost, OPE offers mentorship programs, professional development opportunities, community-engaged news sources and communications, one-on-one consultations, conferences, grant and award programs, and administrative leadership designed to deepen the University’s commitment to publicly-engaged scholarship and University-community partnerships.
